Refined Beauty was established in 2017, offering a range of services from bridal makeup, beauty treatments to makeup courses.

Charlotte graduated from the University of South Wales in 2016 with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Promotion where she found her real passion for makeup artistry at a professional level.

Charlotte’s freelance portfolio developed along side her studying and she went into getting her makeup qualifications at the Academy Of Freelance Makeup in London. Here she obtained her certificate in Professional Freelance Makeup Artistry in 2017. 

Ever since becoming a full time self-employed makeup artist and beautician, Charlotte’s career has continued to grow from strength to strength. She has since won 6 awards including Bridal Makeup Artist of the Year 2023 at the UK Hair & Beauty Awards, Bridal Makeup Artist of the Year 2023 at the Welsh National Wedding Awards and Freelance Makeup Specialist of the Year 2019 at the Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards. 

Her specialism is in luxury bridal makeup and she has travelled all over the UK, and abroad with her work.

During the pandemic, Charlotte obtained her Certificate in Education & Training and became a qualified makeup and beauty educator, and is now studying a Masters (MSc) in Marketing.
